How do you get YouTubers to play your Roblox game?
Make the game worth filming, then ask the creators who already play games like it, or pay them. That's the whole method, and it can work. A creator who enjoys your game will make a better video than any trailer.
The problem is what happens next. One video goes to one audience, mostly on one day, and then the creator moves on to the next game. If you've put your launch on that one upload, a slow week for their channel is a slow week for you.
What makes a Roblox game easy to film?
A good moment early. Creators can't spend half a video on a tutorial, so the game has to give them something to react to in the first few minutes.
- Something happens fast. A big reveal, a close fight or a rare drop near the start.
- Room to react. Surprises, fails and moments where the creator can shout at the screen.
- Something new to show. An update, an event or a secret their viewers haven't seen.
- Friends can join. Games that are fun with a group give creators a video their friends want to be in.
If you're planning an update, it's a natural hook for creators. How to market a Roblox update covers that side.
How should you reach out to YouTubers?
Short, and with a clip attached. Big channels get a lot of requests, so a short message that shows the game beats a long one that describes it.
- 01Pick creators who already play games like yoursTheir viewers already like the genre, so your game fits their channel.
- 02Lead with a clipTen seconds of the best moment says more than a paragraph about the features.
- 03Give them something newEarly access, a private server or an update nobody has seen yet.
- 04Keep it to one askOne message, one clear request, and an easy way to say yes.
If you pay or give a creator something of value, the video needs a disclosure. The FTC's guidance for influencers says to disclose any financial relationship with a brand.
How much do Roblox YouTubers charge?
There's no public price list. Each creator sets their own rate, and it usually covers one video, paid up front, whatever that video goes on to do. If it flops, the money's gone.
BloxClips works the other way round. You set a budget before the campaign starts and pay per approved view, at a CPM we agree with you up front, so you pay for what the videos actually get. Our review team checks every clip by hand before its views count, and invalid or suspicious views are filtered out. Cost varies with the game and the goal, so we work it out with you on a call.
Why does a network of creators beat one big YouTuber?
Because players rarely try a game after one video. They try it after the third or fourth, from a different creator, a few days apart. By then the game looks like something everyone's playing, and that hype is what makes it seem worth trying. One YouTuber, however big, is one voice.
| Compared | One creator, one video | BloxClips campaign |
|---|---|---|
| Voices | One | Many, at once |
| You pay for | The video | Approved views |
| If it flops | That's it | The network keeps producing |
| Checked | By the creator | Every clip, by hand |
Kill Streak shows the difference in scale. Instead of one channel, more than 3,000 creators posted about it across TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Reels, and the game passed 10M views in its first 10 days. When are long-form videos worth it?
When the game needs explaining. Some games don't land in a few seconds because the fun is in the building or the slow payoff. Those need a creator who sits down and plays.
Bee Garden was one of those. It had little established reach on social media, so BloxClips picked some of its largest creators to make long-form videos about it. Those videos passed 500,000 views and put the game in front of an audience it didn't have before. The Bee Garden case study has the details.
Long-form is one format among several. BloxClips also runs full uploads, long-form midrolls, logo placements and short-form campaigns, and most games do best with a mix.
How does BloxClips get creators playing your game?
We pick them for you. BloxClips has a network of 100,000+ creators, and we choose the ones whose followers already look like your players. You don't send a single cold message.
If you have no footage, we handle that too, down to sending creators in to film it to your brief. Short-form creators cut the moments that land fast, and for a game that needs explaining, long-form creators play it properly. You set the rules for what they post. The full plan, from before release to after launch, is in how to market a Roblox game.
Pitch a YouTuber or two if you want to. Just don't make your launch depend on one. BloxClips tests formats until it finds the one that works for your game, targets the players most likely to try it, and runs everything from brief to report. You tell us the goal and we handle the rest. Book a call.
The campaign generated more than 500K long-form views and brought Bee Garden in front of a new content audience.
